Stepping into the Green Guesthouse in Kagoshima felt like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of Sumiyoshicho. The rooftop terrace, with its breathtaking views of Sakurajima volcano, immediately set the stage for a truly unforgettable stay. The free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the cozy shared kitchen added a touch of convenience and comfort to our trip. As we explored the 4 floors accessible only by stairs, each step revealed the meticulous attention to detail in the comfortable guestrooms, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.The staff's warm welcome, coupled with their excellent command of English, made us feel right at home. They promptly attended to all our needs, reflecting the Green Guesthouse's commitment to exceptional hospitality. The property's proximity to the Izuro-Dori Tram Station and downtown Tenmonkan made it a breeze to explore the vibrant city and its cultural highlights, such as the Kagoshima Prefectural Museum of Culture and the Kagoshima City Museum of Art.Our evenings were spent socializing in the inviting lounge and relaxing on the rooftop terrace, savoring the unparalleled views of Sakurajima. The shared showers and bathrooms were impeccably maintained, adding to the overall sense of cleanliness and comfort.
